Loved her first book in this series, but 2&3 read like an attempt to put a textbook in a novel. Cults, now bikers...Stories are good, but characters are almost lost in the information overkill. Reichs doesn’t seem to be able to let Tempe do her job really well without forcing us to sit through too much explanation about a plot element. I skipped many pages!

Reichs write a good story! She writes great characters! The action can be intense, and the suspense can keep you guessing. The murders take place in 2 countries, and over long time spans. I found the story fascinating!

Despite the fact I still have trouble reading the French, I have not read a single book that Dr. Reique(sp) has written, that I have not enjoyed emmenssly(sp). Thank you Doctor. Ronald Asbury

Well edited, but the story never grabbed me and the characters were irritating in their stupidity, rather than like able.

Why is chapter one 1 page that end with a coma? Not off to a good start.
