The purpose of this course is to bring about awareness of the intricacy of shyness, which can assist clinicians in providing thorough treatment. In addition, members of the public may use this course to enhance their personal knowledge of the subject matter presented.

5. Identify differences in shyness according to gender and age.
6. Describe various treatment approaches used in the care of shy clients.
