Description

Ben, the most romantic of the smoking hot Knight brothers, knew from the moment he met his high school sweetheart, Julie deGaia, that she was the one for him. Marriage, kids…he wanted forever with Julie—until the moment she skipped town without a word. Then Ben’s father was murdered, and his life was irrevocably changed. Now, after twelve years, Julie’s back. Ben’s over her, of course. They’re completely different people now.

Right. If they’re so different, why do his feelings for her seem so damn familiar?

And how, after all this time, can she still make Ben so hot and bothered?

Julie was never supposed to return to Jupiter Point. It’s only by staying away that she’s ensured her safety. But she owes a huge debt to the wealthy and demanding Reinhard family, who took her in as a child. What the Reinhards want, they get, so here she is, dodging a handsomer-than-ever Ben Knight. Her former sweetheart has turned into a hunky pilot who aims that sexy smile at everyone except her—until he learns the truth about why she left in the first place.

If the past can’t keep Ben and Julie apart, a deadly threat in the present might. As for that idyllic future they always dreamed about? It might take some Jupiter Point magic to put this star-crossed couple on the road to happy ever after.

Having read and loved the previous Knight brither’s stories, I eagerly anticipated Ben’s. He got his second chance with Julie, who ran away years ago with no notice. I really enjoyed their story, another chance at forever. I only wish the mystery of the Knight’s father’s murder was solved

Ben Knight and Julie were high school sweethearts who KNEW they'd get married, have kids, and live happily ever after. Then life got in the way. Fast forward twelve years... Ben, a former military pilot, and his brothers have opened Day and Knight Tours. They take tourists up in the skies for tours of Jupiter Point and surrounding areas. Ben loves his job, but feels as though something's missing in his life. Although he tries not to be, he's a little envious of his brothers and their significant others. He wants that for himself. Julie has carried a secret for twelve long years and it's one of the main reasons she's returned to Jupiter Point. Once home, she realizes the messages she left for Ben all those years ago, were never received. Actually, the messages were relayed, but they weren't her words. As Julie works to make Ben forgive her, there is a stalker in waiting. Loved, loved, loved Ben and Julie! Ben is swoon-worthy, patient, and romantic! Julie has a heart as big as Texas, but almost to her detriment. Julie has given up twelve years of her life to help her best friend raise her son. As a result, she has no life of her own and is willing to put her life on hold for her godson and best friend. Ben tries to be understanding, but also tries to get Julie to realize she needs to start living her dreams before it's too late. I enjoyed Ben's interaction and patience with Julie's godson. Intriguing ending, but actually wanted more, maybe an epilogue of sorts. This was the seventh novel in the series, but can be read as a stand alone. I read a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.

This book features lead characters Ben Knight and his former high school girlfriend who disappeared without a word 12 years ago, leaving him heartbroken and jaded about love. Now suddenly Julie is back in town shaking up Ben’s world with memories and secrets to confess as well as a confrontation that has been years in the making. I always enjoy Jennifer’s storylines, her down to earth characters and the hilarity and mayhem of this particular group of brothers. The continuing murder mystery added a spooky factor while Ben and Julie’s awakening passion really made my heart race! I read an early copy of this book and all opinions expressed in my voluntary and unsolicited review are completely my own.
