This is a story which starts in the last book in this series and has the beginning of an ending in this book. You have an excellent well written book about a couple of deaths and lots of secrets. The Babin family story is the main story but Carter is the side story. Lots of action, plot twists and romance. The substitute sheriff is excellent and is a character to keep. The next story will keep you riveted and I can’t wait for it to be written as it is Carter’s story, Fortune’s story with a few more thrown in!

This whole series is so fun to read. I look forward to every new book.

Love the story…Love Fortune and her friends… but…I don’t like having another unfinished ending! But we know the Swamp 3+ Carter and the Heberts with Manny and Fortune’s Dad will bring him down!

Not only this book but the whole series is clean, funny and with just enough slouching and romance to keep the reader engaged.

These are great books! Fortune goes to try and rescue her boyfriend. Back home a new dead body and the mystery if it was a murder or not! So many twists and turns that your not sure if he was killed or natural causes. And the usual high jinks that the good citizens get up to. Great laughs all the way.

Excellent storyline and well written as usual. Can’t wait for the next one!
