Great quick, sunshine/grumpy read!

All I can say, is Fox Cassidy drew me in from the beginning, I love the chemistry that he and Josie had from the start. I would recommend this book. It is a great read. I can’t wait for the next book. I feel like it’s gonna take forever and so for now I’ll just have to reread all of VI’s other books to get my fixed until the next book is revealed. Thank you for what happens at the lake.

I read this book in 2 days and absolutely loved it. Fox and Josie were truly a match made in heaven. Took them a minute to get there but it was so worth it in the end!!

Loved Fox and Josey! Fox is the grumpy to Josey’s sunshine. She is not his type but he is drawn to her. The small town is adorable and makes you want to buy real estate there. The secondary characters are great as well. This book will leave you with a smile and a warm place in your heart. I love all of their books but this one has become my new favorite! 5 amazing stars

I knew I was going to love What Happens At The Lake since the beginning of the book already had me laughing! This book is hilarious and sweet perfection with a beautiful mix of emotional and tender moments along with a well written, thoughtful and meaningful storyline. Even though Fox is extremely grumpy and broody, he’s sex on a stick and probably one of the best heroes that Vi Keeland has ever written. He literally stole my heart and I don’t think I’ve ever had a hero linger in my mind the way he has. Neither him or Josie were looking for someone but I’m glad they took a leap of faith because they certainly deserved all the goodness. What Happens At The Lake is definitely on my list of top favorite books.

I l oved Fox and Josie's story! Fox was such a lumberjack curmudgeon! He's so awesome! He's definitely someone I would love having in my corner as a friend. Even though he has a super gruff exterior, he was soft on the inside, had great manners and looked after all of his friends. Josie was such a darling! She's been through some bumps in the road but had such a positive outlook and disposition. It's no wonder all the residents of Laurel Lake fell in love with her. And it wasn't just because they'd been voted the "America's Friendliest Town" for seventeen years. There was no way Fox could not fall for Josie. Even though she did a lot of crazy things, like adopt a pet duck, and hung Christmas cards on her wall in July, he fell hard for her, even though he fought it tooth and nail. Events in his past have kept him from getting close to anyone, so what is it about this woman that draws him in so much? Prepare to fall in love with the town of Laurel Lake and it's cast of lovable characters! If I could find a town like it to move to, I would in a heartbeat!
