This Woman Forever by Jodi Ellen Malpas Once again Jodi has given us a complicated but delicious masterpiece with This Woman Forever. It’s the 3rd book in Jesse’s POV and should not be read as a standalone. Jodi wrote a moving and completely captivating side of Jesse for this one. I thought I had gotten it all before, but boy was I wrong. I knew this side of Jesse was possible, but to see it written out and listen to it on audio was just so emotional. This book was so much more than I expected. The complexity, and intricacies that are Jesse Ward continue to blow my mind. Honestly, it was genius. I can only imagine how hard it was for JEM to write it because this one was a rough one. Oh, the last 20 percent of the book…. Be ready. From the beginning we see Jesse for whom he really is, but I also love the extra vulnerability that he shows in this book. I love the alpha, loving and softer side of Jesse we see. But, don’t worry he is still super raw, complex, unhinged, consuming, and all encompassing. He’s struggling with his demons, insecurities , the guilt, pain from his past and the ghosts still he runs from. We see flashbacks and interactions with his loved ones from his past, and some not so loved ones. Some of the truths we learned from his POV, wow! His past is still leaving him apprehensive of opening up to Ava, but she continues to show him in this version that she’s the one for him. He met his match with her. IMO she continues to show her strength in being able to love a broken man like Jesse. The messages on the wall, perfect example. They truly saved and healed each other. 🥹🥹 I saw Jessie continue to grow, learn, have hope, and fill himself with love in this book. He continues to strive to be a better man, and change his past for the best possible future. Loved that we got see more of his relationships with Kathy, John, Drew, Sam and his family. Of course, JEM doesn’t leave out the sassiness, the spice, angst, plot twist, or vendettas in this one. I will say, I read and listened to the audiobook. Shane East doesn’t disappoint, his devotion to this character came through so hard. Especially in the last 20 percent of the book. At the same token I couldn’t stop getting trampled by Shane, JEM and Jesse MF Ward. Amazing read and listen. I’m sad to see this story end. But, if you haven’t read With This Man book 4 in the This Man Series it’s technically the next book and it’s already in Jesse’s POV.

The lord of the manor is back in all his alpha/ broken boy complexity. This is his redemption story to me, and it pulls at all my heart strings. It will make you fall in love with him a bit more, as well as see Ava from a beautiful perspective. A perfect ending to Jesse’s POV. Can’t wait to re-read “All I am” and “With this Man” to really finish off the series.
