I was shocked at the filthy sex scenes in this book. I was looking for a clean love story. I do not understand why any author feels the need to be so graphic. Would NOT recommend this book.

Don’t waste your time with this book. The book really needs a good editor. The wording seems forced in some places and is too wordy in others. This story should have started with an prologue explaining Sarah’s relationship with her fiancé. Then the book should have started with her living with her Aunt. This book starts too abruptly. Also, in the beginning of the book Sarah greets her cousin, William, with a kiss on the cheek. She is very happy with his generosity towards her. Her reason for not marrying him is only because he is her cousin. Then later she is hostile towards him like he has treated her badly. This is very confusing. This book reads like a sweet historical romance, however, it has explicit sex scenes which seem to contrast with the rest of the book. The storyline isn’t bad, it just needs a good editor fix these issues. As it is, I don’t recommend reading it.

Author is talented and weaves a story that draws you in but it was a little too wordy for me. I finished it,but not impressed enough to continue the series. I like historical romance, but was not a fan of this one.

The Arthur's creative writing is so beautiful and entertaining. Yes I really enjoyed this story and it was so good to see the emphasis on family life.
