Around the World in Eighty Days is a classic adventure novel, published in 1873. In the story, Phileas Fogg of London and his newly employed French valet Passepartout attempt to circumnavigate the world in 80 days by his friends at the Reform Club.

My mother read it as a teenager I have now done the same. If you’re a fan of travel this is a book for you, the ending is most satisfying, the author has a talent of capturing the most beautiful landscapes, and the characters are truly special and unique.

The book was very good however when the author kept talking about the scenery I got bored. Overall it was a good book and I especially loved the plot twist at the end.
