This book is incredible! It’s incredibly moving to see how although someone may seem different your worlds are more parallel than you could’ve even imagined. I read this book in 3 days and I hope everyone gets a chance to read it. This story is one that will stick with me forever.

One of the most moving stories I have ever read. I could not put this book down. Thank God for those people who don’t just keep walking past and who care enough to make a difference in the lives of others.

This was a wonderful book. I felt I was with the writer along with her on story of her life day by day. I do believe that we are destined by the Lord or The Greater Spirit to meet certain person in our Life Time! It has happened to Me in My Life... An invisible thread connects those who are destined to meet, regardless of time, place and circumstance. The thread may stretch or tangle. But it will never break. One of the best books I have read. An incredible story about being humanistic.....If we just take the time to be compassionate with others, we can make a huge difference in other people's lives.

Touching history .. An example to be followed. This book taught me a lot. How to be strong and not give up while helping somebody. I do volunteer work In Brazil and it is not always easy to keep it in a long term basis, personal plans always come in the way and sometimes we feel discouraged, but reading Laurie history made me really confident.

What a heart touching story this turned out to be. God doesn't always give you what you want but he always gives you what you need and these two people needed each other. Loved the pictures at the end also
