Funny, insightful. Funniest part: roommate descriptions. Brilliant. Most useful for me, the insight into egocentrism and insistence on familiarity. Thanks for the peek inside your head. It will help me with my son.

I'm a teacher. I have been blessed with several Aspergians over my career. I find 99% to be genuine, loving, children incapable of telling a lie who strive for acceptance of others. This book made me laugh and cry. It also made me realize how much I love my marriage regardless of our quirks and spats. Kudos on a great book! Thanks to whatever magazine was featuring it that caught my eye at the doctors. I bought it while sitting in the waiting room. :-)

Wow! This book is a must for anyone whose life has been touched by Asperger's Syndrome. It is humorous and touching, but above all makes sense of my thirty years of being married to an Aspy.

On every page I could find something to relate to! We have struggled in a similar situation for twenty years and finally David's descriptions of himself make sense to me. His story helps me understand my husband's behavior. Now I hope my husband will be similarly motivated to work on some things. I thought some of his behaviors were willful, now I understand them differently. Is there a source for more help?

I teach challenged folks of all ages how to ride a horse. Whether the challenge is cognitive or physical in nature, the therapeutic benefits of horsemanship are tenfold. As I read this book and glimpsed into the complicated process by which the author transformed himself, I am convinced that sheer tenacity and the will power to achieve change for the sake of love can master just about anything. Small victories are a routine part of my day with my students. High-five to the author. You are quite the inspiration!

Funny, sad, poignant, frustrating. Really opened a new world for me --- will have more compassion for others!

Best book I have read this year. I do not have the disease, Aspurger syndrome but this book improved my marriage. Thank you!
