What a great storyteller! Funny but insightful. Sad but happy. Fiction but oh so real.

I'm into chapter 7 and hanging in there, BUT, this one takes a while to get going. Not sure if I really like so much slang and cop jargon. Maybe this guy isn't my cup of joe.

Very good. Slow start but after a bit could not put it down. Real cop lingo. Realistic.

A great book from an author who understands the inner workings of public service as good if not better than any other author. As the officers of LAPD's Hollywood Division uncover a world of crime, the individual quirks of the characters and the intrigue of the calls these officers respond to will keep you turning the pages all night! Probably not Wambough's best, but still a must read for fans of the genre.
