Great but a bit unfinished

While it is a HEA it never answered the question as to who is after them/hurting them. To be a complete book, it needed to address that, but it seems that that’s part of the next book. I’m not sure if I’ll even read the others, so while I loved this book, it did feel unfinished. Still giving it 5 stars bc it kept me interested.

Enemy to lover romance story with a hint of suspense
Super cute and love the character from a soft and shy girl to a stubborn and hard rancher that constantly bullied her as a child now as a man, did the tables turn? Did the soft spoken girl lean to be unafraid of him?
The author kept the story open not giving in who maybe targeting the ranch (though I think I have an idea on who it is…) so of course will have to read the next one to find out more details. This book was full of heartbreaking circumstances, that takes the reader through a ride of how the two main characters deal with them. Definitely recommend this series so far.

There wasn’t enough antagonists to further the plot. Though the writing and characters are great! I wish it included a little more of what was going on at the ranch but well written!

You can’t help but love Stetson and Lily. The chemistry between them is really intense. Stetson comes across so gruff. In his defense he is carrying a heavy load. Lily is still struggling with the loss of her mom. If these two can get out of their own heads, they may discover their HEA. I look forward to next books in this series.
