I didn’t like or care about any of the characters. Nothing about this book made sense—there was no character development, no plot buildup, no depth. It felt like random stories and characters, including ‘who done it’ were written down and pulled from a hat. Deeply unsatisfying.

This was an old fashioned style mystery that had all the components of a suspenseful read. Start reading and you’ll be engrossed in a plot that will not leave you disappointed

Story line should have been really good. So many ridiculous decisions, and so dragged out, specifically- when C goes into house ‘looking for something’, should have been a paragraph, not a chapter. Ratings are really good for this book, so I know I am minority. I wanted to love this book, one of very few I did not finish.

Great read

The story starts without character building and I had the feeling of entering later in the book. Twists, turns and changing admissions made me wonder if anyone was telling the truth or even a partial truth. They have secrets that become heavier as the pages turn. I stayed up much too late.
