This reads like a sit-com. It’s like the author put all the vampire books ever read in a pot and shook them up. I mean a powerful little girl hunted by evil vampires. Hmmm. Three stars because a lot of the story was not very believable. Sam and Layla are the perfect couple. Actually, maybe the same person. They are both very stubborn. And very, very funny. Loved the banter. I really don’t understand the navy seal angle. Weird. Also, after the battle, they still didn’t know where Ben was. Webb was just talking to the shifters who were working with Roman. Common since, ask them. The drugs that killed the shifter they are trying to figure out, yet did not ask the prisoner who gave it to the hunters. Start there. Such rookie mistakes for such an elite team. Also, why does Jo have a hard time reading people? It’s her power. So many holes. Maybe predator will be better.

Good story line with vampires, shifters, vampire hunters and humans. This is going to be a good series to keep up on. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This was my first book by S.B. and considering it's a PNR, I couldn't wait to dig in. I really loved read about Sam and Layla. Enemies turned something more and omg it was yummy! Looking forward to the next book.

Holy Cow, that was AWESOME!!! When I read The Vampire Navy Seals Collection of Jo & Webb I freaking loved it!! I was so crazy about so many of the characters! Jo and Webb’s story was to die for! But when it was announced that Sam’s (Jo’s twin brother)story was coming out, I was ecstatic!! Well it was 10X better than I could have imagined!!! This slow-burn, enemies-to-lovers, vampire and vampire hunter is SPECTACULAR!!! Just the right amount of tension, steam and romance make up this addictive PNR!! I need the next book NOW!! It ends on a bit of a cliffhanger, so I’m dying for book two!! Sam is sooo SEXY and his bond with Layla, the Hunter, is crazy forbidden and therefore so so HOT!!! I listened to the audiobook and the narrators do a fantastic job at bringing the author’s words to life!! This book is like 10 star worthy!!!! If the idea of Military Vampires who protect human life and the character’s romantic stories sounds good to you, then you need to read (or listen to) this series!! First Jo and Webb, and then Sam and Layla!!! You will love all the action, suspense and steamy romance!!!

I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed The Hunted. I don’t normally choose to read a paranormal book. But when one of my favorite authors writes one, I jumped on this. I loved this book, it intrigued me and I couldn’t put this down. I was so hooked and I was so addicted to this storyline. I loved Sam and Layla, and their steaming hot chemistry! I cannot wait for book 2, it can’t come soon enough!

Gah! I can't believe I binged this book in a day! It sucked me in with the action, feisty heroine, loveable a-hole hero, and an excellent plot. I can't recommend it enough!
