With the mummy’s help, they begin to unravel the mysteries surrounding the haunting activities around town. But strange things begin to happen with Niamh’s powers, and Edie’s powers are growing strongly. Will Josh and Maggie survive being cursed? Or are things more complicated than they think? The Mummy’s Curse is a great continuation of the Afterlife Calls Series. As we delve deeper into this universe, we learn more about Niamh and Edie. We begin to explore Niamh’s antagonistic relationship with her mother, and there are plenty of secrets between them. There are more ghosts, a new supernatural character in the form of an Egyptian mummy, poltergeists, and so much more. If you enjoyed the first book, this is a book you must read. A maze of twists and turns culminates in a shocking conclusion that will make you want to find out more. With great characters, a compelling plot, and supernatural ghosties and ghoulies, this fun book will draw you in and make you want to keep turning the page until you’re done. An excellent sequel to The Ghost’s Call that will have you laughing and jumping up and down to find out more.
