The heat of the moment isn’t quite enough. More is required. I quickly find myself deeply invested in T’kinn’s and Serena’s growing, ever changing relationship. I love Serena’s intelligence, her inner strength, and her refusal to conform to Kinn’s expectations. Kinn has a rough job containing this little wildcat, but he has strength of purpose, honor, and most of all, love. What commences is shocking, and emotion-filled! Richly told, poignant, and heartwarming!

Having read about this couple in previous books helped to define these characters, but their struggle to come to terms with each other as Alpha and a unique Earth Omega truly laid them bare. While this is a romance we also get insight into the earth rebel group, learn more about the Tolath, and get a look forward via a twist or two. I love this series, beastly aliens with a heart of gold, post apocalyptic women leaders, and a storyline you can’t put down. Great read!
