This book was okay but a little drawn out for my taste and then the conclusion was rushed after the mystery was solved.

I enjoyed reading the book.

The story is fun with lots of genealogy intrigue and lovely characters! Mags is a wonderful protagonist and Biddy is a fun foil for her! There are two mysteries here: one) whose Finn’s father and two) who tried to run him off the road? It’s told from mag’s point of view and minimal swearing.

A little confusing at times but came together in the end. Light hearted read.

I loved the book. I laughed and smiled throughout the story.

This is the first book in a Genealogy mystery series and I really loved the interaction and friendship between Mags and Biddy. Plus it’s set in Ireland, which is an added bonus. Excellent writing and I loved the mystery twist. I am planning to buy the second book now!
