Perfect for You

I loved reading this story. I liked how the author integrates family values and a sense of responsibility for the main characters. I enjoyed learning about the kids with speech impediments and how the characters made a difference. Great love story without the cheating and poor treatment between the couple. Highly recommended.

In this third installment of the Annapolis Harbor series, both characters have secrets but they get an amazing HEA ending. This was well written and the storyline deals with issues adults and children deal with everyday. Dylan won a blind date with Reid Everson. She opened her own law firm and is there whenever her parents need her. Due to the demands on work and family her dating life has suffered in the past. Reid is the tight end and captain of the Baltimore football team. He doesn't like giving interviews. He is trying to prove to the owner that he still wants to be there because his contract. He is dedicated to his profession and providing for his family

I am so in love with this book. It was the most romantic and sad story I have read in a while. This is the third book of the series and it centers around lawyer #3 Dylan. Dylan wins the auction blind date with a football player. She is thrilled. This is just what Hadley’s non-profit Kids Speak needs. They have worked so hard to get the Annapolis location up and running. She carefully researched and picked the perfect football player to approach. Now that she one the auction, they have a shot. Reid is a very private person. With a secret to keep, he is very picky about who he lets in his life. Now that he made captain his coach expects him to be more in the spotlight. Do more interviews, charities, etc. This is how he found his self on a blind date with a gorgeous woman. As a partnership begins with Kids Speak and the football team, so does the attraction. But when Dylan and Reid’s relationship begins to get serious, the secrets between them threatens to tear them apart. This book was a beautiful story. It has amazingly strong characters. It flows at a smooth and steady pace. It has a backstory that really makes the story shine and feel real. Reid has such a deep and controlled personality. Dylan is sweet and sacrifices her happiness in life over and over throughout her life. My favorite quote “I loved this because it was Reid. He wasn’t perfect but he might just be perfect for me.” I fell completely in love. It was romantic, sweet, yet sad. It really pulled at my heart strings. Shedding tears are a given. So be sure to have some tissue on hand. It was such a beautiful story. I am completely head over hills for this series. All of the characters are unique and have their own issues that lead them to big beautiful love. Lea Coll is an amazing romance writer. Her stories are beautiful and heartfelt. This book is my favorite in the series. If you weren’t a fan you will be now.

Reid and Dylan are such a fantastic couple, filled with heart and hope! They each carry a secret that they feel they cannot share with anyone, which makes of course for a bit of drama, but their relationship is filled more with fun and laughter than angst. I find it funny that Dylan knows next to nothing about football, yet ends up with this hardworking, dedicated team player. Somehow I missed book two, but I’m going to be fixing that situation very soon! I wasn’t missing any information that was vital to this storyline, so feel free to jump right in, if you’re new to her world. I love Lea Coll’s writing style; her books instantly grab me from page one. She grabs the reader and doesn’t let go. Even after the story ends, it still stays with the reader, who is then anxiously awaiting her next new release. I can’t wait to see what’s next!

Every time I read one of the books in this series, I fall more in love with these wonderful characters. Reid is a football player (tight end) and Dylan is an attorney. Dylan makes sure she wins a date with Reid because she wants him as the spokesperson for Kids Speak, the nonprofit Hadley created in New Orleans and hopes to bring to Annapolis. The chemistry between them is smoking hot, but they’re each keeping secrets. Will their secrets be their downfall or will they overcome them? I’m not leaving any spoilers, so please grab your copy and see if you love these characters as much as I do. I’m already looking forward to reading Lea Coll’s next book.
