This book was just a little bland. I enjoyed the read but I wasn’t captivated like I usually am with Nancy’s books.

Lots of ups and downs; totally relatable to most family problems and love
  • Disappointing so far

I’m only on chapter 3 and I don’t think there is any way that Nancy Thayer wrote this. The dialogue between Ari and her mother is so elementary and ridiculous I almost can’t convince myself to keep reading. The other reviews say the relationship between Ari and Eleanor is very sweet so I’ll keep reading but so far this book does not read like her other books. Do writers sometimes have others write chapters for them?

A joyous book full of love and family. Many sweet and tender moments along with a few tears, I was so engrossed in the family drama that I couldn’t wait to see how everything was resolved. Nancy Thayer has outdone herself. Enjoy this adventure which reflects the ocean: turbulent but beautiful!
  • Family Reunion was a great story of normal family life and all that comes with it

I loved the relationship between grandmother Eleat or and granddaughter Ari. It was very special. And the age of Eleanor I related to and the normal body changes that happens as you get older. I could relate and feel what she was going thru. I was most interested in feeling I was in Nantucket and what goes on during peak season and off season. I believe this will be a good addition to my bucket list of places to see. Thanks for sharing your life Nancy Thayer with your readers. Loved the book,
