Reviews

  • Great book; title doesn’t do it justice.

I took a chance on this one, based on the publisher’s description. I thought it would just be a quick and easy read with minimal plot and character development. Wrong! The four sisters are bound by a tumultuous childhood, which shapes their very different personalities and how they deal with the events and people in their lives. Yes, there is somewhat of a lead character whose life does establish a basic plot framework, but the title isn’t really about her one-month marriage, nor does it do justice to the story and the characters.
