COWBOY COMES. HOME. by Barbara McMahon The story starts with a bang, and grabs you with the emotions of these two young kids. They were making plans to attend college together, a mishap, and a accident, and Ethan wasn’t allowed to see her, her father forbid it. In three months he kept trying, getting beaten, and a few minutes is all he wanted, when he finally got the break to see her, and she told him to leave. The ring, the plans were now gone. Young love, is it gone, ten years they have established themselves . New neighbor, the sounds of a harmonica and memories of someone who use to play that. When she was young, free and not so gullible. Ethan had inherited the ranch next door. how was it possible. Would the people in Puerto be there for him, then he would make a go of the ranch and make his father proud, for him and his son. If they took sides with the influence of Sara’s father, then what. A great plot, with the tension that the years hadn’t dissolved. The first meeting and the air was thick with the barbs being said. Seeing his young son, he had moved on, and she hadn’t, the tears wouldn’t stopped. Plot that takes you on an emotional ride to the end. Readers will want to read, and be glad they did. Given ARC for my voluntary review and my honest opinion.

The Cowboy Comes Home by Barbara McMahon. This is Sara Wilson and Ethan Sanchez’s story. Sara and Ethan were young lovers but circumstances drove them apart. Now, ten years later their reunited and even though Sara and Ethan are hurt and feel anger toward one another there is still a really strong attraction to each other. This story grabbed my attention from the beginning. The emotions of the characters felt so real and at times my heart hurt for Sara and Ethan. Once secrets are revealed will Ethan and Sara take a second chance on love and happiness? This is an emotional and heartwarming second chance romance with wonderful characters. I loved how the story came full circle for Sara and Ethan. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Sara and Ethan were high school sweethearts, but a senseless tragedy and her father tears them apart. This is a beautifully written second chance romance that will have you flipping the pages to see what happens next. Anyone love single dads? Well, Ethan is one to adorable Bobby. This book is full of suspense, but your questions will be answered. I would love to read Brie or Bart Carson’s story, Barbara McMahon, hint, hint.
