I first read this book at 14 or 15 and have always considered it as a favorite. Fifty or so years later it still is! Much can be learned of life and what is ultimately worth the wait!

Great book, it was kind of sad at the beginning, but I’m glad things worked out.

For this book to hold my attention I had to force myself to read without enjoyment in a large section of the book. It was just okay. I won’t read it again.

Wow,finally read all of this work;a passionate love story with many twists and turns. Charlotte Brontë is great writer!! Hard to put down!!

Fabulous book! Almost a life-long fiction fave. Highly recommended.

It’s an authentic tragedy that Jane Eyre reads like a quaint and naive throwback to a lost era. Brontë’s heroine is the embodiment of what we used to call character: Virtuous, faithful to her own moral compass, intelligent, rational, compassionate, responsible, courageous, self reliant, generous, forgiving, a person without envy, malice, or greed. It is hard to resist the conclusion that a society in which Jane Eyre could become a popular best-seller is a society preferable to that of our current age.

This book is a great love story. It is a real page turner. You won’t want to put it down. My wife and I both used the same quote from this book when we said our vows at our wedding. Follow The main character (Jane) through her trials and tribulations of life. I love this book because Jane faces a lot of adversity and remind resilient. It’s a love story but it’s also a story about resiliency.

I don’t think i’ll ever love another book so much, that’s all.
