Nicole grabs just the minimum that she and Emilie will needs and speeds away into the night leaving behind her life plus her purse and money. She drives until her car breaks down and she is found by Deputy Matt McKade hiding in one of the family cabins. From there the many twists and turns lead you down a road of danger and possible happiness. A couldn’t put it down until the end. Another great story in the McKade Law series.
