I finally read this book, and I simply don’t get the hype about it. The first 3/4 are incredibly slow, dull, and predictable. The last 1/4 has some things that happen, but not enough to make up for the boring first part. Also, all of the bad poetry scattered through the book is distracting.

Love this book. Has been such a pleasure to read it. My first book that got my into being a book girlie. ✨💙

What a wonderful story of survival, love, loss and natures ability to care for those that inhabit it if they are willing to look, to listen and to learn! A wonderful read!

This book lacks depth and creativity and I don’t understand how popular it has become. It is not a good book.
