The characters in this book were entirely unlikeable. I forced myself to read five chapters before I gave up. Life is too short for painful reading.

It’s ok it could have been better it felt to me like you didn’t try. Which in turn left me not enjoying it to its fullest. Lacking.

I was wishing for something with less predictability. There was never any doubt what would happen next

This series has caught my attention. I loved the previous series that this was a spin off of. Its a standalone but it mixes up with previous books just enough to get glimpses of past books. Thea and Anthony are a weird match. I can’t see it. He’s from a company who tests on animals and she is protesting them. When they get stuck together they clash, but something else happens too. They each see different parts of themselves and each other. Can such passion for their lives move into passion for each other? Can they overcome such obstacles they hold dear? It took me awhile to get into the book but once i did it was good. Iris has always written books books I’ve loved this one was a bit hard to imagine for me though. I am so looking forward to the next brothers book, Phil. I love having series books. No worries no cliffhanger here. Enjoy!

WOW! Loved that Iris Morland matched the free spirited, animal activist of Thea Younger with the arrogant corporate billionaire Andrew Bertram. They meet by renting the same cabin in the woods and then are stranded by a rain storm and floods by accident. Thea has a secret that she can't have Andrew find out is that she is behind the bad PR that his company is experiencing. Andrew is fighting the bad PR and his own secrets. You will enjoy reading Thea and Andrew's story in Taking A Chance On Love and love reading about Younger family. I highly recommend reading this book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
