    I read “Chasing Red” on Wattpad and then came here and purchased “Always Red”. Well it was a waste considering it’s the same as what I read in the first book on Wattpad. Will be trying to get my money back

    I really thought this was a different book. It’s just split into two. I’m disappointed. At least I’m giving back to the author for buying it. I just thought it was different.

    The book that’s saved my life by making me see everything in an entirely different light and made me want to be stronger like red and more my age like Caleb and adventurous like Kara (Cam) and selfless like Cameron. This book made me laugh, cry, and... other things... but this book opened and fixed this part of me I didn’t even know was broken and I am so saddened that I’ll never be able to read this book for the first time ever again. Although just reading it again for the first time published has given me so much happiness and hope for other wattpad books.

    Always Red picked up right were book 1 left off. It is not a standalone and would be best to start at book 1. I enjoyed this book a lot more because once Veronica and Caleb mend things, they are pretty solid. No more of Veronica running away which happened a lot in book 1. They still have issues to work through and we still have the interference with Justin and Beatrice Rose, but I loved how Caleb and Veronica stuck together. I also felt the characters behaved more maturely in this one. This does end on a HEA, so no cliffhanger! ***ARC provided by NetGalley.
