Really enjoyed this book. Couldn’t put it down, I can say this of all of the books in this series so far!

I love the story and characters. I think some editing would make it better. As someone from Iowa, there were multiple instances where things were inaccurate or didn’t make sense.

I struggled reading this one. I live in Iowa and couldn’t get past that fact that not much research was done on the state. I realize this is fiction and supposed to be entertaining but we don’t have forests with winding back roads we are part of the central plains! We have mostly flatlands and fields with a few rolling hills depending on which part of the state you’re in. It’s my home and it was poorly depicted. I’m not crazy about the main character she is new to the FBI but so much better than seasoned agents?? Really? The story line was okay but seemed never ending I couldn’t wait for it to be done. Probably the last book I’ll read in this series.

Great story, but if Mackenzie doesn’t stop going into situations by herself, I’ll kill her myself! Too darn predictable. But still a good story. I liked it...
