This is a really great read.. to me Cain is so sexy and Sloane is also..

This second book in the series was delightfully erotic with more lust and sex than the first book but the political angle is what really appealed to me because it was obvious that the lies Sloane was telling would come back to haunt her in a very big way. Cain is a complex character with a tragic past that has forced him to wall away his heart, but he never planned on the depth of feeling he has for Sloane. Ms. Bennett likes to write naughty sex scenes, but she takes great care to make sure that there are strong emotions between all of her characters, and that really appeals to the romantic in me. This book is not for the faint of heart so if explicit sexual encounters with multiple partners is not your cup of tea, this series is not for you. A highly entertaining erotic 5 star read.

4.5 stars As I read Wicked Fall book 1 in this series I kept thinking I hope Bridger is next… that was until the epilogue and that I was OMG I want Cain now!!! Well, Wicked Lust did not disappoint! It opens with a prologue that was the epilogue to Wicked Fall, it is a great refresher and so puts you in the right frame of mind as to who Cain is when the reader connects with him again in this one. Cain Bonham is Head of Security at the Wicked Horse. Witnessing Cain go from a top requested Fantasy Maker at The Wicked Horse to man who had his heart stolen without even realizing it until it is almost too late kept me glued to my kindle. Cain’s spotting of Sloane from across the crowded bar at The Wicked Horse was well done, you reader knows from the moment Cain locks her in his cross hairs that she is different for him. Oh and the way Sloane gets his attention has me giggling and cheering her one! This story has a wonderful use of secondary characters and not just the Wicked Horse cast or the additions to the sex scenes that turn the heat up big time. Ms Bennett crafted a scene with Cain’s nephew that pulled at my heart while showing the depth of Cain’s. Speaking of Cain’s heart, the backstory that broke his, will break yours; powerful! So if the prior book in this series has #thelick this one has #thestroke, the play between the characters in this book is no holds barred as it is a community of people who view the physical, the joy of sex and orgasm as separate from emotion. I am not sure I can be that person but oh was it fun to read! Warning this one gets HOT and dirty…. “Trust me…. the prince didn’t want to just kiss Snow White to wake her up. He wanted to f*ck the innocence out of her.” I snort and shake my head. “You’ve ruined that movie and my childhood for me.” Ms Bennett so makes it work, through all the sweaty, lust filled words, through the sex that yes goes beyond just two people it is very clear there is a deep connection between Cain and Sloane, one others around them see and respect (yes respect, trust me it works). Wait til you see what Cain does to elicit this line from Sloane: "I better come hard like you promised or there will be hell to pay for what I went through today." This one also has love that shines through! “Can you love me?” Another whisper of his lips against mine. “Yes,” I say with a smile. “I can totally do that.” Did I love Sloane at first no…. do I understand why she did what she did, yes. In the end was I pleased with the happy she brought Cain hell yes! As with the first one this one so made me wants Bridger’s backstory, it made me want alone with him, it made me want to get in his head and it has me dying to see who captures this man’s heart and soul. But as this one comes to a close I was so fine with Rand being next…. because yes in this one we meet two new men Logan and Rand and I am very excited to see both these men get a happy!

What to say about this book?? HOT HOT HOT This book has lots and lots of sex!! But the story within a great romance.Cain is head of security at the Wicked Horse nightclub and at the silo an exclusive sex club.He meets Sloan when she comes to the club several nights,but she's a reporter trying to get a story.Things get complicated can Cain and Sloan work through all the things that stand in their way? Well you will need to read this and find out. Love that we got to see Callie and Woolf and Bridger oh my what a character he is this is MUST READ!!

Cain meets Sloane when she comes into the place he works. She watches him and he is instantly attracted. Only problem? He does not play while he works. Maybe later he will tell her that. Sloane came to this little town in the hopes of exposing the Governor and making a name for herself. Can she survive her feelings for Cain and still do her job? They click so well, she worries she can pull it off. Then there is no evidence for the story..... Cain is known not to keep women around. He is a one and done kind of man. There is just something about Sloane that keeps him coming back, again and again. Can he resist or will this be war before it is over? Sloan knows what she is risking is a lot. Since she will never have forever with Cain, isn't it better she take what she can get? If only they can learn to love and trust while they are at it. This was such a compelling romance. Brought me back to the old days. I loved the character development we see as the story goes along. Just twists your guts and then lets you breathe with one of the best HEA's I have seen in a long while.
