I have read a number of books by this author and this one does not disappoint. This is a spin off series of this author's Club Sin series. Micah recently bought out the real estate agent where Allison works. She is offered a position in his company, which she takes. There is definitely an instant connection between these two. You can almost feel it.

Dirty Little Secret series had been introduced at the end of the Club Sin Series. The new series centers around the men of the DC. However this series is a little different from the previous. The first story in the series, Bound Beneath His Pain doesn't revolve around the BDSM clubs in San Francisco but rather the Dom millionaire who finds the one woman who can see through his pain. Micah Holt is 'an enigma and one with a dark past.' He's the founding member of the Dominants Counsel and a very successful Real estate mogul. Micah is an interesting character. He owns a club that caters to his fetishes however he doesn't attend. When his demons need to feed he turns to his friend with benefits. It's his demons that have held him back from a real relationship. His past is dictating his present, he has villainezed himself. Allie Bennett accepts a job at Micah's agency and becomes the eye of his obsession. Allie has secrets of her own. Micah aggressively pursues Allie. She pushes back because she doesn't want her secret to get out. When they finally come together one of Micah's secrets is revealed causing Allie to run. Allie is the light to Micah's dark. She's innocent to his demons. Micah holds his demon at bay but Allie fights to have all of him. Micah pigeonholed Allie as innocent and pure, missing the signs that they may not be so different. The story has the right amount of angst and sexiness. I enjoyed the ending. I can't wait for the next book in the series, there's a glimpse of the next couple at the end of the book. 5 Stars!

Stacey Kennedy has a real knack for catching your interest early on and drawing you in into the story. This book is certainly no exception. I was hooked almost from word one and I absolutely did not want to put the book down. The characters were so real and true and so beautifully flawed. Micah, who has buried his heart and true desires, seemingly content to only make money, and Alley, who refuses to even give him a chance because of past hurts involving rich men, definitely have obstacles to overcome. You just can't help but become invested in the main characters of Micah and Alley, but even the supporting characters of Darius and Taylor have you rooting for them as well. The journey that these characters take is truly incredible. It is one of self-realization, self-awareness, self-metamorphosis, and of learning to give and receive love. I found this book, overall, to be provocative, intriguing, impassioned, captivating, and completely riveting. I received this Arc for an honest review. Great book! It's about Micha, a self made "broken" billionaire who buys a real estate agency. He hires Allie, a top notch agent from the new company. From the moment they meet there is smoking chemsitry. However, Allie never dates rich men. This is explained in the book. Allie, herself is rich but leads a down-to-earth life. And that's what kind of man she is looking for. But Micha wants Allie and he'll do whatever it takes to get her. But he has dark secrets that no one knows about. Their chemsitry is off the charts hot! The story line is very intriguing. You don't know what Micha is hiding until the end. The secondary characters are great. The ending is somewhat of a cliffhanger. A great one at that! A hot, intense, mesmerizing book!

This new series by Stacey Kennedy is off to a fantastic start. I really enjoyed her Club Sin series but she really kicked it up a notch with this one. Allie Bennett may come from a family of money, but she chooses to not use her trust fund and instead works as a real estate agent to provide for herself, while not letting anyone know of her wealth. When her company, Richardson's is bought out by Holt Enterprises she is not certain what this will mean to her career. Allie arrives late to work, as usual, and finds out her and her assistant, Liv, are offered new positions at Holt and she is relived. When her tardiness is called out by a smooth, silky voice behind her, Allie turns around to stare into Micah Holt's bluish-gray eyes and is mesmerized. This first introduction was fun and Allie has no idea what is about to hit her! Micah is completely enamored by her and just has to have her! I loved the cat and mouse game that these two played with each other. It was so delicious and fun! It was enjoyable watching these two characters, who both had secrets they were keeping, being drawn to each other in ways that neither of them ever imagined. Allie is a sweet, innocent person who just explodes with pure light while Micah has a darkness about him based on events from his past. It was fun watching these two give each other things that neither of them even realized that they needed. Overall, this was a wonderful story, with such fun and complex characters and I really cannot wait for the next book!

Having been a huge fan of the Club Sin series I was so excited to see this new series coming to fruition. I actually got giddy when I saw the Club Sin tie in because that will always be one of my favorite series so to see it's connection here kind of validated the book for me. I was completely blown away by this first installment of this new Dirty Little Secrets series. Micah and Allie are freaking awesome together!! They each play off of the others strengths and make each other a little better going forward. I have found that sometimes I have trouble with a dual POV book because it can get confusing at times but not in this one. The book is so well written that it wasn't hard to keep up with and the cross over from one POV to the next was smooth and distinguishable. I'm not sure that anything will ever get above my Club Sin love but this one is starting out like it will give it a run for it's money!
