Always love Daniel Steel style of writing and her books are just enough detailed information to keep me not wanting to put the book down and this book is no exception

Story was good but it could have been written in 1/4 the number of pages. Very, very repetitive. Writing elementary compared to books she wrote years ago and I have read many. Don't think I will read anymore unless I find a cheap one for a quick beach read.

The storyline was different in someways than her typical....it centered on male characters. I've read every Danielle Steele non-fiction book and they are always engaging, including this one. But I have to say that she does seem to repeat herself a lot. It's noticeable and I often just skimmed the apes looking for where something different was written. I don't recall that in older books. It's fine to be shorter and less repetitive. Still, I got into the characters and enjoyed the story.
  • I think it's her best ever!

I have read all of Danielle Steels books. I believe this is her very best one. It's not her usual but it's like all the rest as far as keeping your interest. It didn't start off with a sad situation but it did come towards the middle. It pulled you in and the pages flew by at a powerful rate. I could honestly read this again! Please enjoy!

Nothing redeeming about this book. It is horrendous. A waste of time and money. Disappointment overload!

Truly enjoyed it! Don't get the bad reviews...less predictable than many of Steele's more recent books. Was also nice reading a book more focused on a male character.

What a shame. The storyline is an interesting one, but Danielle Steel seems to have not put any thought into deepening the story. There were just a few plot lines, but they were repeated over and over and over and over again. So boring! I ended up skipping large portions go the book just to find details that weren't already discussed ten times before. The plot of the book is figured out early in the book, leaving little to look forward to.
