I felt like I was a part of the clan.. Wonderfully written.

Loved the first book in the series. This one wasn’t bad but wasn’t half as good as the first in the series either.

I did enjoy this but it’s a very typical sexy-Scottish laird-rescues- the-beautiful-damsel-in-de stress romance. It has a happy ending and all is well and they live happily ever after.... It seems sometimes you read one of these types of storylines you’ve read them all. This was a good book and I did like it but I have read better. This isn’t a type of book that you would want to read again and I’m not sure if I would read another book from this author. I’m sure they are similar. It was nicely written but I found myself skim reading a lot of the book to no consequence.It was corny at times especially the end but it was a sweet ending. If you enjoy sexy Highlander romances with a sweet but predictable ending(and story) you’ll enjoy this book.

This book could have been so much better. The characters fell short and really no depth. The author only makes suggestions as to the Genevieve’s plight, but no details. So it’s hard to leave all to imagination.

I love this series so much. Maya Banks can write some awesome Highlander Romance and I can't wait for the next book. There are so many I want to see get their HEA. Genevieve McInnes is kidnaped and held captive by a cruel Laird who takes great pleasure in ruining her for any other man. Bowen Montgomery storms the gates of his enemy's keep on a mission of clan warfare. Genevieve finds her spirits are bent but not broken by her feelings for Bowen. Who finds he's drawn to her inner strength and unusual beauty. I highly recommend that you read this series and in order to fully enjoy each book.

READ IT!!!!!! Loved this story. I've always loved stories where the heroine gets pregnant at the end! Vey sweet, romantic and hot erotic scenes. Mrs. Banks did it again!
