Really really smart stuff - these kids obviously understand the fundamentals of spiritual/religious traditions and the logic behind their practices - and they rework these (and encourage all others to do likewise - which is also the only way religion ever got anywhere in the first place) into a system of self-empowered impetus toward creativity (concieved BROADLY, ie creation of the Universe). This is not just pseudo-intellectual, new-age BS, but rather a clear (if concise) exposition of the import of digital technology with regard to its impacts on what is essentially (transcultural) religoius knowledge (I say this as a PhD student in Religious Studies, though again, appropriate from all traditions, or none, doesnt matter, what matters is your own creativity). To quote the process philosopher Alfred North Whitehead: “This basic situation, this actual world, this primary phase, this real potentiality -- however you characterize it -- as a whole is active with its inherent creativity, but in its details it provides the passive objects which derive their activity from the creativity of the whole. The creativity is the actualization of potentiality, and the process of actualization is an occasion of experiencing. Thus viewed in abstraction objects are passive, but viewed in conjunction they carry the creativity which drives the world. The process of creation is the form of unity of the Universe.” (Whitehead, Adventures in Ideas, 179)
