The Kind of Reading Experience I Expect on the iPad

When I download books to my iPad, for the most part, I've come to expect more. I've come to expect an experience akin to what the iPad is capable of providing. I respect the digital translation of pure text books on a digital device, but have seen a shift in my desire to simultaneously experience associated multi-media. To me, it provides a greater sensory and learning environment.
David Roberts' Egypt provides that sensory experience with the inclusion of interactive images, audio, and even the WebNotes page at the end of the book. Full disclosure: I work for Sideways, but was not involved in the production of this book in any way.
