Excellent read. Enjoyed the characters and snowy setting

This was an exciting, interesting, intriguing story that kinda reminded me of the Laura ingalls wilder books I read as a child only this was set in Alaska. The ending was happy and sad but was satisfying all the same.

Deeply moving and mysterious.

The writing is lyrical. The characters are well drawn. The setting is magnificent. And the story . . . I really don’t have words. I sobbed at the end, not because it was sad, but because the emotions it evoked were too strong to be contained.

So easy to read, such a beautiful story, and so well written. But truly very sad.

What a lovely story. I was captivated by the scenery and dialogue and characters. I felt as if I was in cold, snowy Alaska. With every chapter, it read as a fairytale and a true story, at once.

Once you start you will not put this down , i have not finished a book in a long long time .. the Snow Child was recommended by my mother and her book club .... What a great story

I read this book in one sitting, and I don't often do that. I couldn't sleep without finishing it. It is a heart warming story that makes you think. I felt as if I were really in Alaska with Jack and Mabel. Beautifully written.
