  • A Nice Surprise

I have not listened to Howard Stern on the radio since he moved to SIRIUS satellite radio a zillion years ago. So for me, all of these interviews were fresh and new. I really enjoyed them, and especially the written intros and insights to each. I also appreciated seeing that Howard really has grown into a tremendously talented and compelling interviewer. Most of all, I enjoyed seeing how Stern has worked on himself in order to become a kinder and more compassionate human, a better father, and a loyal husband — not just an 80’s “shock jock.” And yet, he’s still kept the right amount of “edge.” The “new” Howard who showed up on ‘America’s Got Talent’ was NOT just an act.) Good for you Howard.

Howard Stern is a master at getting people to open up in interviews. This book was the best!

Dull, self-serving stories with no edge.

As a longtime listener of Howard, I was deeply disappointed in this book. It wasn’t a writing, it was a mere copy and paste of old interviews. I was hoping for much more.

Just like his radio show he’s not trying to entertain his lifelong listeners anymore. The guy has the right to live and work how he wants but what a disappointment to see an comedic icon become so unfunny.
