I love this series! I keep saying if that’s my favorite book, no that’s my favorite story. Can’t make up my mind. Just know I can reach for of her books and go anytime I want. Another one of those type of series where you can read it & reread it & never tire. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Michelle am. Pillow did it again. This book kept me spellbound. I couldn’t put it down. Lochlann and his best friend were on opposite sides of a war that they didn’t believe in. They left together and after the war his best friend went back home with a new bride. Lochlann’s people would not accept back though unless he found a noblewoman’s sister Margot. Jarek had set up an alert when margot’s face was located. The alert went off and then lochlann and his crew left to locate Maria and found Alexis a pleasure droid instead. This book was hilarious with so many twisted kept an interest until the end.

I so enjoyed this mixture of Qurilixen Draig mythology and deep space action adventure. But what would an exciting storyline be without the characters that grab your heart and imagination. Lachlan has the Draig’s ingrained since of honor and old fashioned manners, but better than that he is progressive in his beliefs that all species can get along, even dragons and cats. Alexis has had a sad life and as our tale goes on I was even brought to tears. But underneath the pain is a resilience few can boast. With some twists I didn’t see coming this read kept me riveted from page one! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

5.0 out of 5 stars His Metal Maiden The Next Space Lord Book Arrives This review is from: His Metal Maiden (Space Lords - A Dragon Lords Romance Book 3) ( The next installment of the Space Lords series His Metal Maiden by Michelle Pillow continues the stories of this somewhat misfit group of pirates. This book focuses on Lochlan a Draig (Dragon shifter) who finds himself captain of the ship after Jarek (the cat shifter Prince) returns to his home planet with his mate. When a "pleasure droid" (Alexis) runs away and seeks asylum in the ship the men and females aboard agree to saving her and find out this droid is really human with a horrid traumatic past. This particular book in the series is pretty dark compared to the others but the determination of Lochlan and the crew bring light and hope to Alexis' as she fights to survive and overcome her past. I loved Lochlan in this book although I often wanted to talk him out of his doubts and self depreciation he was all we've come to love of out Draig heroes. Alexis has some surprises in store for the readers and it was difficult at times to experience her going through her trauma and transformations as her body adapts to its new environment. Don't want to retell the story or give away any spoilers. A thrilling suspenseful romantic Scifi that will turning pages through the night. First though...as the stories intertwin and weave together I highly recommend reading these books in order. The Dragon Lords and Var series are both wonderful mesmerizing worlds to enjoy each book highly enjoyable and addicting. iIf you haven't treated yourself to these books don't wait a minute longer.
