The thing about Rebecca Forster’s books, is they often take me to emotional heights and depths I’m not sure I want to go. But her characters are so real, and her writing is so compelling that I’m swept along helplessly unable to stop reading. I’m especially loving Finn and Cori, and hope this series runs as long as her fabulous Witness series. Please write faster, Ms. Forster! Can’t wait to see more of Finn and Cori!

It's a pleasant surprise to take a chance with a "new" to you author, only to discover your hooked from page one. Severed Relations is such a book. Murder mystery, police procedural, and a slightly damaged protagonist. The author has successfully blended the elements together in flawless style.

I really enjoyed reading this novel. I got a kick out of “verbalizing” the main character’s script. The accent was neat. Such a bad boy and a tender man all rolled into one. The story line moved along well and really got rolling towards the end. I had to finish the book before I left for work this morning, so I was late for work!
