I didn’t know how I was going to feel about this book! I love Ristan and the other guards but Syn and Ryder’s story was so enthralling that I was afraid to stray from it. Well this did not disappoint and I’m so happy I realized quickly that I was missing information in the Fae Chronicles and that the reading order involves many series that tie into the main storyline! Love love love these books!

Amelia Hutchins knows how to please her readers, this was honestly dark, dangerous, bloody, sexy, and makes your heart throb. Saying it was stellar is a understatement! Need my next Amelia Hutchins book fix! Soon!

So reading this out of order is not recommended. This fills in the gaps you would have if you read Unraveling Destiny before this book. Plus having to backtrack, several parts are mundane because you already read what is supposed to happen only you don’t know the how it happened. So please read this before Unraveling Destiny. It is imperative to read Ristan’s story and what the full history of both him and how Olivia is what she is and how she became important to Ristan. Very good read.

Loved this addition to Amelia Hutchins' Fae Chronicles and I like how these new Elite Guard books are weaving through the existing timeline in Faery. I loved that we get to learn more about the guards and their back stories. It also appears that these stories/couples will be single-book HEAs, which I so STOKED about! Must Read!

This book was definitely worth the wait & I think I fell more in love with the demon!!! I didn't really know what to expect with book but it absolutely blew my mind how great this story was & now I'm hoping we get another book or more about them in the future!!!
