I was not sure I was going to like this book, to many books with vampires. Not my taste in reading. Except this one had me stuck on it and I couldn’t stop reading, finished it and was disappointed to read “The end” Loved it from start to finish.

The story was ok, but the typos are outrageous. You lose track of the story line while trying to decipher what a sentence should have said.
  • Novel Is All From Kallie’s View Point

Only the view point of Kallie is considered. The novel did not express her father’s feelings ( who was turned into a Red Blood Vampire and every full moon , he is drained of his blood and beaten by other Red Blood Vampires, surely he has strong feelings about his situation, her Mother who is a nurse and still loves her husband, although he is now a Vampire, Liam, who is a police detective and a Blue Blood Vampire, who supposedly is in love with Kallie and Caleb, who is also a Red Blood Vampire, who supposedly cares for Kallie and saved her life on the night of the accident, when her father was turned. It’s all one sided. Basically the novel is about what Kallie feels and thinks. IT WAS AN EXTREMELY BORING NOVEL FOR ME.
  • Half a story is not a complete book

There isn’t enough plot in this book to fill a short story. This is a blurb drawn out to novelette length. She writes well, but she didn’t say anything.

I’ve read a lot of this author’s work and I typically love her stuff, but this book(version) has too many errors to overlook. It seems like there might have been full sections edited out which really messes with the plot progression and character development. I do enjoy her characters and the storyline, though, regardless!
  • Not worth the read

Main character is just as stupid as the rest. Seriously when will we get a normal acting female character. Also the whole book you really don’t learn anything and nothing happens. Pretty boring and predictable.

This book was surprisingly well written for a vampire novel. I loved the main character and the ever growing plot. However I feel that the book lacked reader connectivity. At times the book was rather dull and I couldn’t connect with the characters. The concept of the book was outstanding and different which warrants the three stars I’ve given it. However I would have liked more length to the book, based on personal preference as well as a smaller cliff hanger. Due to the rather large cliff hanger and the book ending abruptly, I felt that me reading the book was a waste of time. That reason alone toppled any chance of a 5 star rating.

A very well written book with the right amount of intrigue, thrills, and hot steamy sexual chemistry! Characters that leap from the pages and take you on a fantastic ride. A story line so spine tingling that you can’t put it down. Can’t wait to read the next installment of this mind blowing series!
