Darkness

Ugh. I liked the first 3 books, it was upsetting the direction this one went. I always like it better when authors keep it in a tight location & keep most of the drama between the characters. Why do so many want this "coming out" of the supernatural during this era with billions of people, so many weapons, instant communication & all the rest? What they come up with is always full of so many holes.
So she loses her powers in the beginning of the book, then whines about it thru the rest of it. Great. The "surprise" ending was hinted at so loudly in the last book, I'd be surprised if it was a surprise to anyone.
