This was a great little overview of how to use the Ulysses software to write a novel. I would highly recommend this book.

This is a very helpful “get up and moving” introduction to Ulysses. A quick read with helpful tips along the way. Highly recommended. At the end, you can get to writing. However, it did leave me desiring an advanced manual for Ulysses covering the product thoroughly.

This is a very simple overview of how the author uses the program to write and is certainly not worth the $5 I spent to read it. "Don't change the defaults, use iCloud, and play with a small example before you write your novel." There. All you need to know is in the files that come with the application.

I’m a huge fan of Ulysses III, and I write both screenplays and manuscripts with it. That being said, I still found some nuggets of wisdom here and learned things about the app I thought I already had a great handle on. This is a well-written, to-the-point illustrated book that gives a lovely overview of what makes Ulysses III such a compelling environment for writers. It’s not a super-long book, but remember, you shouldn’t be buried in this book for months at a time anyway–go out and write! Thank you David for creating this resource; I look forward to the upcoming chapters regarding Ulysses for iPad, etc.
