This story kept me interested from beginning to end. There were definitely plot twists I didn’t see coming. I’m not ashamed to say that the ending had me tearing up. It’s a good story that I recommend everyone give a read.

Something about this book just didn't do it for me. Too many characters/storylines to keep up with and everything seemed to magically come together - it was all too easy... Having a million plot twists doesn't automatically make a book suspenseful (or a worthwhile read).

I couldn't put this book down from the first page I started reading. Favorite book, hands down. Such a wonderful author. Very highly recommend this book!!

Bought this book on a whim because it was recommended as a book similar to Gone Girl and Big Little Lies. I have to say this book almost topped Gone Girl and certainly many of the other books I have recently read (The Girl on the Train, The Daughter, Reconstructing Amelia, etc.) I could not put the book down and it had so many plot twists I was never bored; it was interesting from start to finish. Kimberly McCreight is extremely talented and I hope this book soon gets the attention it deserves- it has potential to be a huge hit among the reading community. Would highly recommend.

I have to say I was nervous starting this book considering the subject matter... But I'm so glad I stuck it out! Very good book! It had very believable story lines and you really felt connected to the characters! I would recommend!

I was lucky enough to get a advance copy of this book at a used book sale, and for only $1 too! Would have paid full price after reading. Well written with plenty of plot twists to keep you guessing. Can easily see this being adapted for the screen. I will definitely be checking out the author's first book, and eagerly await her next. Loved, loved this book!
