Parts of this book I really enjoyed, the character development was interesting and complex. But the plotting meandered, and no single thread of it seemed to fully resolve. Perhaps it is simply too starkly real, as life seldom has much of a plot, and you only rarely get full resolution. I admire the book, but I can't say I liked it.
