Description

The duty of any princess is to do what she's told, but when Agnes is assigned a new bodyguard, all of that goes out of the window.

The last person Agnes ever expected to be employed as her sworn shield is the man she left behind when she was forced to become a vampire, but now he's not only in her life, but always there, reminding her of what they once shared. And what they can no longer have.

Hector never thought he'd see Agnes again, and now fate has brought them back together, he's not sure he's going to be able to let her go, even if he knows he should.

With the King determined to find a political match for Agnes, time is ticking and the two of them have to decide what's more important to them - love or duty.

Crown Of Blood And Duty is a standalone connected to the House Of Blood And Roses series. It is a steamy vampire romantasy featuring a forbidden second chance m/f romance, vampires, and vampire royalty.

Agnes’ life was turned upside down four years ago, and now her father is turning it upside down again, but this time she’s a little bit older, and there’s a chance she might be able to come out of the turmoil happy… maybe… if she doesn’t stand alone. Hector is a no one, always has been, but for once in his life that is putting him exactly where he wants to be… or maybe just a few steps away from where he wants to be… is that close enough? This done n one story introduces a new Universe, and with the Vampires comes their culture and rituals. The majority of it is simple to understand and follow along with, there are one or two things that gradually unfold for the reader, but it is clear holds meaning for everyone in this Universe. I enjoyed how this story established the Universe, and helped me get to know the main characters, Agnes’ brothers, and the key aspects of the world they are living in. I chose to share my thoughts about Crown Of Blood and Duty.
