Description

Instant New York Times Bestseller!

“With Jane Smith, Alex Cross has reason to be jealous” (Good Morning America). Hard to Kill features James Patterson’s greatest character yet–a tough-as-nails attorney up against a relentless killer.

Attorney Jane Smith is mounting an impossible criminal defense.

Her client, Rob Jacobson, is the unluckiest of the unlucky. No sooner is he accused of killing a family of three in the Hamptons than a second family is gunned down.

It’s not double jeopardy. It’s not double murder. It’s double triple homicide.

Jane’s career has spanned from NYPD beat cop to Hamptons courtroom. She’s tough to beat. She’s even tougher to kill.

The defense may never rest.

Good plot. Lots of twists but I did figure out early who the real bad guy was. Good read .

I’ve read everything JP has written and loved them all. His last two books have been Dnf for me. This one was so boring! The main characters are dull, flat and uninteresting. I’m really disappointed

Worst Patterson book I have ever read. Too many characters, too many moving parts. Couldn’t wait until I finished and almost didn’t finish.
  • Too complicated. Unsatisfactory ending.

Jane is a ridiculously basic character. Patterson is losing his edge. I miss Alex Cross.

Good read, but didn’t like the F word used along with other cuss words! It really doesn’t make the story any better! Carolee
  • Slow and tedious

I’ve read most Patterson books but this was like being dragged along over glass! Half the book is chemo therapy and how bad it makes you feel the other half is a montage of bad guys who never get caught and an attorney that does not prepare for a trial and her side kick bar owner ex cop neither of who are prepared for the obvious. Waste of money and time.

Just wasn’t good as the first one It was a basic repeat of the first book Almost almost the same plat all they did was add some further characters and you didn’t get to see her doing her trial work what’s gonna be book number three her finishing this trial and hopefully moving onto a different one or still trying to tie up all the loose ends it should’ve been the first book or the very least this one
