I loved this story by Kaci Rose. I was thrilled that Jack finally got his story. I loved reading every second of his and Sage's love story. It was a quick story but amazing. Jack has finally bought a place on the mountain and came home one night to an unexpected guest. Sage hadn't realized that her college roommate's uncle's cabin had been sold. She needed a place to stay and figure things out. When she discovers her mistake, she tries to leave but fate has other plans. What will happen when Jack's past and her past collide? Will they get their happily ever after? I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This book is definitely a great addition to the greater series but I believe it could stand on its own as a short story. As someone who has read all the other books currently in available in the series it’s heartwarming to see Jack’s happily ever after! The deeper look into his past really helps give him more dimension and the way his love for Sage helps him find redemption for the past he’s been carrying around with him is very healing. I can’t wait to hear more about Jack and Sage in the next book!. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Intriguing storyline with surprising twist in just how small this big world can be. Enjoyed the outcome of this read, as it deals with some pretty heavy issues that unfortunately don’t always get the justification deserved. Nice addition to the series. A woman on the run hides at a cabin that she thought was her friends relative’s. Having just bought the cabin Jack is surprised but his protective side goes full swing. A quick sweet story with a bit of steam and filled with doubts, instant attraction, a bit of angst, acceptance, belonging and love within a small town setting. It was nice it see past characters from the series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I opened my Kindle, started the story and did not stop until I completed the tale. I love that each book in the series is independent but beloved characters can be found in within the pages. This is Jack's story and how his past revisits his present. Bravo in so many ways. I love the Mountain Men and how they (and their ladies) support each other. This is such a phenomenal book - I adored it! Jack is trying to outrun his past as a defense attorney. He buys a cabin in the mountains only to find a woman there when he moves in. The woman is Sage. She, too, is running but from someone - her abusive ex. After trying to leave Jack’s cabin and not being able to, they both agree that Sage should stay with Jack. They fall into each other’s arms easily. Sage is uncomfortable at first but only because she is a curvy girl and does not feel attractive. Jack is able to convince her otherwise. This book had all the feels with an interesting twist. I completely fell in love with the tortured Jack. This author has some amazing books and this is definitely one of them!. I loved Take Me To The Cliff: Mountain Man Romance Book 6 of The Mountain Men of Whiskey River. Jack is surprised to find Sage in his home. Sage didn’t realize her friends uncle had sold the house to Jack. She left her abusive ex and was hiding. Due to unforeseen circumstances Sage ends up staying with Jack and their feelings grow. Sage can see making a life with Jack on the mountain. Unfortunately, there is still some drama that needs to be worked out. This was a great storyline and I loved the characters. I love how the couples from pervious books make an appearance. I would definitely recommend this book and the series.
