Red Flags

Omg! this book had me hooked at page one!! Skye Warren is one of my fav authors for many reasons and Red Flags was definitely the perfect sample why. The book was intriguing, mysterious and with a unique setting. The main characters were very unique on their own and the sensual tension between them was delicious. Sienna portrays the brave, strong and witted girl but in the inside her family problems and old memories make her just a girl who is afraid to trust and to hope for a future outside her small town of Forrester. Her luck changes once Cirque des Miroirs comes into town and the mysterious Logan Whitmere takes an unexpected interest in her. Logan is the mysterious owner of the circus, throughout the story you get little information about his life and motives but one thing he values the most is his family, which for him is the whole circus. I love how from the very beginning he becomes protective of Sienna and wants to shelter the girl that has evoke a passionate desire of him. But will he ruin her and break her? Is Sienna really safe with him? This book is the perfect beginning for what I thing will be a magnificent series and after the cliffhanger ending I can't wait for book two.

This was quite fascinating, in a dark and captivating kind of way. Sienna’s life is beyond tough, but turns a bit interesting when the circus comes to town. Logan, the dark, yummy man who owns the circus, helps her one particularly harsh night. He brings her along and she makes her escape. Life is interesting with the circus, but still not easy. Same kind of issues, just with different people. And you can’t always outrun your past. I cannot to find out what happens next!

Let the show begin…. I cannot sing this book’s praises enough! At all…. This book is straight Skye Warren fabulous and everything she is best at! Intrigue Does anyone write a broken heroine better? A hero that may also become the villain…. And to top it all…: it’s setting is a circus!!! I can’t even. I. Loved. This. So much. Highly. immediately. Go now. Read this. Best of 2023 read and Best of ever list for sure!
