This is the first book of the year for me and it was so freaking good. I am never disappointed with Amelia’s books. She always keeps me hooked from the beginning to the end and leaves me wanting more. My oh my do I want more. I need the second book to this duet now. Jacob and Catherine’s story was so good. It is filled with guilt, suspense, drama, spiciness, regret, lust, love, and twists that left me shocked. Jacob and Cat have a relationship of convenience that become more than convenience. Now there is someone tormenting them and they don’t know who. If you read Gabriel and Elise’s story, you will recognize Cat and Jacob. I am completely shattered by the ending. It was heartripping and shocking all in one. I really need to know what is going to happen between these two. Another well done book by this masterful author.
