Conundrum. Thoughtful. Satirical.

One note song. Interesting premise. Poor denouement.

This short story is only 15 pages long so I won't go into detail, but this was the most entertaining 15 pages I've read in a while!

Thought provoking.

The to natural progression of anti-human environmentalism. While a human is ‘just another animal’ his actions are destroying the earth; poppycock !!The height of hubris!

This is one of the most depressing views of the future that I have ever read! What makes it so depressing is that it seems to be informed by Mr. v’s possible WW II knowledge of the death camps and the earlier eugenics views that many held throughout that time.

I didn’t know what to expect going in. A very curious and dark thought experiment. It changed so suddenly towards the end there. I’d imagine the writing would be much more fluid in its native language

I had downloaded this book in the free section of the Books app. I think it’s a delight to have access to these books and many more on the App. Along with this book I downloaded Swift’s, “A Modest Proposal”. In hopes to compare the two with regard to their “Ideas” of population control. A funny albeit grim read it definitely feels right at home in the dystopia that’s has become the year 2020. It gave my a chuckle or two, and in such a short time to be able to full flesh out these characters is a feat in and of itself. Love Vonnegut Jr. and I always will. Keep reading, A.

This is one of my favorite authors and he never disappoints. It’s a shame it’s so short.
