Clear, honest, true. I wish I could thank Thomas Paine myself, but he is already left the earth and gone to his Heavens he so loved.

Our friend Thomas masterfully explains many conundrums people have experienced upon leaving a church sermon. Perhaps it's a shame he didn't live long enough to read Darwin or learn of quantum mechanics. He made have reasoned himself into becoming an atheist.

Eric, if you downloaded what you thought was what you were looking for, and it turned out to be something else entirely, why did you give it one star? Thomas Paine didn't say, "dude read my book it's about how awesome Christians are" so don't give him one star because you couldn't find what you were looking for.
  • Where are all these critical minds?

An enlightening read to see how our forefathers personally and publicly fostered free thinking and progressive ideas, and their freedom to express their agreement or disagreement with certain principles, whether it's politics, science or religion
  • Not christian or any other religious theology.

I was looking for Christian theology. This is the author's point of view, in which he doesn't believe in Jesus or any other religious figure, he plainly believe there is a god. Also doesn't believe in the Bible, the Koran, or any other text by different churches. Not saying he might be right or wrong... It is just not what I'm looking for. I took this up from the few pages I read.
